blower fan cutting out on lft-hand turns (type 44)

In the winter you might have a shard of ice in there - _that_ would
surely stop the fan momentarily.

Sometimes the drains are easier to clean from below than above.  Your
friend the coathanger wire can be poked up past the steering arms.
