The '92s were the first year with the V6 engine, so there were some
teething pains. The main one is the head gasket, which was eventually
recalled and replaced under "warranty". Make sure this was done!
I believe Sean Ford has a few choice words (many with 4 letters in
them!) about this.
Other than that, they are pretty good and solid. I have a '95
A6QW, basically the same car with a few ongoing tweaks. Been very
good to me for 88K miles. A good test drive will tell many things.
Is the interior "Ecru"? This color (which was common with the green
exterior) is not my first choice; it tends to get dirty easily and
shows wear a lot more than the other colors.
