  I knew it would happen eventually.  One of the reasons I drive an Audi is 
  that I like the contemporary styling of the type 44 which doesn't attract 
  much attention from anyone, especially the cops.  More than once I have 
  slipped through a speed trap while the Camaro or GTI boys driving the same 
  speed were pulled over. 
  Well, last Friday I was driving north on HWY 17 into Phoenix when I saw it.   
  An Audi with one of the largest rear wing / spoilers I have ever seen on ANY 
  car.  It also had the stiletto dual coffee can exhausts sticking up at about 
  a 30 degree angle.  The color was "arrest me red".  I bet the cops have a 
  picture of this car taped on their dash.  Although I couldn't get close 
  enough to hear the exhaust, the 5 cylinder has to sound better than the 
  Japanese 4 bangers.  Is this another west coast fad heading east?
