This doesn't 'reset' the ISV - it disables it.  Once it's seen a break
in the circuit, the ISV controller will not operate the device again
until the ignition is cycled.

Check if you like.  Once you've used your switch, the ISV will not be
buzzing.  Or pull the connector off and put it on again.
