Good advice Dave. Also works well with dealer parts guys. Be friendly,
don't make them feel like a jerk, work with them. Exchange stories,
experiences, get to know them a bit. Just another cog in the wheel
like all of us. You'll be surprised what you find in boxes of stuff
they save after replacements but don't have in stock. Like rubber
mounts for instance in good condition. Usually free for the taking if
you need it. Last time it was concave washers used for stabilizer bar
attachment to control arm. "Don't have 'em in stock, but check out
this box." Found 'em, no charge.
