Yup.  The airbag recall is mandatory and free; the a/c relay overhaul 
is not.  Total for that repair should be well under $200.

Never heard of the ECU dangers from the relay, but it certainly is 
possible.  Interesting.  You'd think they would make a little more 
effort to protect the ECU against transients.
