If the hole is small enough, try the toluene base tent sealers availible
at any outdoor. Or, try toluene based plastic model cement. Works well at
1/8" holes or less, dries perfectly clear, lasts about a year. Need to
warm up the light and the air around it to room temp though. And it may
take several coats. After that, buy some lamp protection clear plastic
(can't think of the name right now).
Try Griot's Garage for their clear headlight protection stuff. It's the
good fil, about 18" thick. does wonders for the euro-lights on my 1990 200
and is easy to put on. Costs about $25 for enough to cover both lights with
some left over.
