check engine light on 93 90cs

     recently the check engine light in my 93 90 quattro has been going on
and off with a mind of it's own. only after the car is warmed up, it seems
to come on. when it does come on it stays on for time periods ranging from
a second to 5 minutes. my oxygen sensors where just replaced today and the
light still comes on. i was told that the rreplacement would probably solve
this problem.....unfourtunatly this was not the case.......does any one out
there have any ideas to this puzzling problem??
