check engine light comes on.

I had similar symptoms with my check engine light coming on . I was able to
fix the problem by replacing the crankcase vent hose on the driver's side of
the engine (kind of under the distributor). This hose runs from the side of
the engine around the back where it vents crankcase fumes to the intake.On
my car this rubber hose was old and soft and would flatten out and plug up
with the engine on. Check yours.
