Calibrating VDO/Audi speedometer to compensate for different tire diameter

    Yes the speedo's can be recalibrated.  I know a fellow in Germany who
ran an RS2 cluster with 235/40 17".  It was not the correct combo for
accurate speed readings, so he took it to a Bosch shop and they adjusted it
by putting in different resistors if I remember correctly.  Then they tested
it and gave him a report on the amount of error by speed, most was 3% at
260kph, below that was almost perfect.
