I'd take I-79 north to 80. Trust me. The Turnpike is a washboard near
Philly.

Subject: Driving through Pennsylvania
I'm headed out saturday morning to pick up my new A6 in Pittsburgh.
I'll be spending a leisurely weekend driving back to NH, via my
mother's house in central NJ.
It looks like the route to take is north to I-80, then I-80 across.
I'm told it's a better road, and free, although loaded with trucks.
Is this the best route to get across? The alternative would be to
take the turnpike to Harrisburg, then pick up I-78, which is where
I want to be in NJ anyway.
Anyone in the area have any thoughts on what to drive and/or
what to avoid?
E-mail me privately, no need to clutter up the list.
