Large cable connectors?

Hi all,

I've been trying in vain to find a connector for heavy-duty cable. It won't 
carry that much current, but I'd like to use the entire cable and make a 
good connection. The cable is some 8 mm in diameter.
Local car parts shops can't help, neither can the dealership. I need only 
the one connector, preferably spade-type.

Can anyone help me find a source, preferably European or on-line?
