A8 Windshield Shielding?

I believe the A8 has some kind of shielding in the windshield, correct? I
believe the other glass is a double pane glass also.

I live in Chicago and use an I-Pass for the toll roads. Does the I-Pass work
with our windshields? I thought I remembered that it might not work.

Also, I have a radar detector that I mount right next to the rear view
mirror. Will this work with the A8 windshield?
