Thanks to all whom have replied in my behalf. I would respond to you individually, but time (or reality says, my stupidly slow ISP) doesn't permit. So thanks to all.
The general consensus is, "GET A LAWYER"! Which I will, through my union, which is VERY cost effective, but takes a few days.
I used to take care of these myself (worked the last one to a "failure to obey....") but since I do have cheap access to a lawyer ($50/flat), why not go that route.
Incidentally, things in NYS have changed over the last 7 years. There is absolutely no place on the ticket to indicate how speed was tracked. I guess that'll come on the supporting deposition. Owing to the heavy traffic, I think at least the actual speed recorded can be questioned. I think I'll go that route.
Anyway, thank you list, for your collective wisdom in this matter....
