Alex jinxed me - need help on my GT

So, this morning, I drove the GT for the first time in over a week, just to 
dust it off.  Started right up, drove well, about 10 minutes in, I hit a 
favorite stetch and opened up - ran up to around 110mph, then backed out.  
Car ran awesome, but then I noticed the tach bouncing up and down 
(digi-dash).  Thought it was weird, but car was running just fine, so I kept 
going.  About 3 minutes later, running at 65 in 5th, the car hiccuped.  Best 
way to describe it, it just missed a beat.  Thought it was odd, tach still 
misbehaving.  Started to worry.  Car then hiccups more.  It's done it before 
when cold, so I downshifted and floored it to clear it out (which always 
works...until now).  Car stuttered, stumbled, then accelerated.  Made a not 
that as soon as I made it to work, I'd call my mech.  Then, stuttering, the 
tach started bouncing off the redline, then down to zero, etc.  All over the 
place.  Car stutters more, then spits, then quits.  I rolled into a gas 
station, and popped the hood to look for a loose connection.  Notta.  try to 
start again.  Cough cough sputter catch sputsputsput Bam.  Notta.  
So, any ideas?  I'm open...fuel pump works, plenty of gas, sounds almost like 
it's having a spark problem......maybe a bad ground?
