Pushing the limits of an I5...

Everyone always seems to indicate that Audi I5 engines are essentially
bulletproof.  What I'm wondering is how bulletproof are they really (the MC
in particular if it matters)?  Who out there has pushed the limits and found
weak spots?

Has anyone run 20 psi and 7k RPM?  More boost?  More revs?

It'd be interesting to hear the "baddest" engine the factory ran using
untouched components.
