enjoy your A8, i am riding in a 4.2 Sport right now, fantastic car, did you
know that they are built at Ingolstadt Audi make 80 per day for the whole
world, when i say hand built they truly are, guys actually hand rivet the
ali body onto the chassis 5000 rivets in all, hand align by eye the hood,
then check with a laser. Finally they take evry car on 200km drive to ensure
it runs right. Lucky me i work for Audi so i appreciate these cars one hell
of a lot, enjoy your A8 i know you will a class car.

Hello brothers and sisters (any out there?):
Finally I am one of your fold again, after a hiatus. Its been a long hard
search, but a Ming Blue Mica 8 cylinder of 1998 era is due to arrive
tomorrow. Just about all options available in the model line. New
Continentals, the polished wheels, solar, and my personal
dream: xenons! Its HID for HK, so look out rice, or you'll be blinded by
the real thing!
Now I will be bugging (begging) you for info occasionally. I am on the A8
list, but it sees *very* little traffic.
Hope those of us in the balmy cool dry climes (don't we wish) of the
southeast can get together for some Audi food, drink and talk. Maybe we
could combine with a VW event if there are not enough of us. If anyone
knows anything about upcoming plans, or a place to list it, please let me
know.
Hope to hear from you in the southeast,
Horace (aka HK) Sawyer
