TQW gets new peepers

Well, after replacing the drivers side CV axle on the TQW this weekend, I
still had too much Mountain Dew coursing through my system, so I decided to
install the 5K NA eurolights and grill I had laying around.  I picked up the
set cheap due to trashed reflectors (rust on the bottom half of both
reflectors), and attempted some experimental repair work.

New reflectors were in the $80 - $100 range each, and since I didn't have a
spare $200 on me, I took Mr. Dremel and ground out all of the rust.  Visited
the riceboy section of the local FLAPS and bought some of that chrome
metallic tape.  The inside of the reflector is a compound curve (which the
riceboy tape clearly mentions it will not adhere to compound curves), but
when cut into 1/2 inch wide strips it adheres nicely without wrinkling.
Covered all the bare metal with just under two rolls of tape.

Buttoned them back up and ran a bead of RTV around the edge for good
measure - the rust was caused by the lower edge seal leaking water into the
light.  Let the RTV dry overnight from the night before.

Wired 'em up and whoopee!  I have light!!  P*ssed off the raccoons way up in
the trees before I got the beams down a good bit, tho.

Yes, the reflector is not optically perfect, but then again neither was the
rust.  Time will tell whether the tape stands up to the heat of the stock
55/60 H4 bulb, but since the repair was less than $15 I thought I would give
it a try.  Based on the sharp cutoff I'm seeing, it seems to have worked out
great.
