Just a quick update on my windshield...

My glass guy is getting a Pilkington windshield. Pilkington and Sigla are
the same company now...all the glass on the S6 says Sigla, on my A6 it all
says Pilkington. It won't have the Audi logo like the original windshield,
but unless Pilkington is making product to different spec for Audi as an OEM
customer, I don't care. Of course, it is possible that Audi specced
something different...

I *did* have the discussion with my insurance company. They weren't happy
that I wasn't using their approved supplier, nor did they offer to cover the
difference between cheap and OE.

However, this will be a non-issue since OE brand glass is available through
other sources.
