Flared fenders on regular 100/200 cars post-88 (the new style dash,
doorhandles etc.) is pretty common here in Europe, at least in
Germany. You could actually order your 100/200 with an "Exclusiv"
package that included the 200TQ20v suspension (or stiffened rear axle
beam on non-q) and some other equipment, like climate control (not
very common here), V8 taillights, wood dash and some other stuff.

My '90 200TQ is equipped with this "Sport" package..
