You'll get a zillion responses to this and mine is not directly
applicable. But anyway, for my 20 valve I ordered the inner and outer
Lemforder kit from the parts connection. My car had a bolt and washer
assy. The kit came with a sholdered bolt requiring a 17mm hex wrench.
The tightening torque from the bentley is tighten to xx ft pounds and
tighten an additional 90 degrees. I think this means the bolt is
streched .25 x the thread pitch and by some magical formula may be
stressed past the point where it will return to it's initial length
after the tension is removed. I think this means the bolt should be
replaced.
The inner boot kit comes with the (six?) triple square bolts to attach
the CV joint to the transmission flange.
