If you can't get the 911 Bigfoot kit to work (probably can't 'cuz of the
bottom pivot and I'd bet the price is in Porsche territory), perhaps some
local machine shop can duplicate the intent. Personally, I use the toe or
ball of my foot on the brake, and the side to "blip" the throttle, so it'
not really heel and toe for me (AA width foot and good driving shoes
aren't wide!). You may also be able to bend the pedal shaft for the
throttle (the brake one looks to be a bit too strong to try) to get it
closer to the brake (I don't recall if I attempted this on the GTi, it
was so long ago).
