Type 44 non-turbo non-quattro cars had 4-bolt wheels from the beginning
(e.g. my
'84); up to some point (87?) usually the 14" ring-of-sausage-links type.
BTW: what else do these wheels fit on? I've got 4 of those with relatively
new Blizzak MZ-02s (195/65 IIRC) and no use for them.
