4000Q Hiccup?

I have fixed a 4kq with these exact (including radar detector) symptoms,
AFTER pulling out a lot of hair. But first in this case I had to have the
car driven until the problem got bad enough to happen more frequently. I
traced it down to a bad connection in the fuse box. I would have to look at
the car (not mine) to find the exact ports (connections) in the fuse box
that I jumpered to bypass the bad connection. Pretty sure it was along
current track 15 and one of the ports was to the up-shift relay, which had
been previously removed.
