There was an S4 with V8 but that was not the Plus. It was only called the S4
4.2, and later the S6 4.2. The S6 Plus was similar to the S6 4.2 but it had an
upgraded engine (315 hp vs. stock 290) and all equipment including color
matched Alcantara seats, 6-speed tranny and Xenon HID lights. The S6 Plus was
only available as a 97 model.
