'86-'88 5K A/C Programmers

Has anyone had any luck repairing the A/C programmer motor for the late 1986 
to 1988 5000 models?

The solenoids seem fine.  Electrically it seems to do what it is supposed to 
do.  The motor runs.  But the motor will not move the bowden cable.  The 
bowden cable will move manually.  From the archives I gather that there are 
little plastic reduction gears in there that get stripped.

Anybody got one for sale?  The Audi p/n is 443 820 503A.
