I installed the Audi bar in my 90Q, ther was no noticeable change,
unlike doing it to type 85 (4kq, coupe GT) cars.
I think your friend may be quite right there, the 80/90 firewall is much
better set up to keep the towers tight. Of course you are really
pushing the car, too, all I ever do is drive like grandma to go get
groceries...
