Perhaps I can take some pics with my fabulous low res vidio capture
technique.
Whan I get a chance, I'll take one of each spare and photo the failing
components. A Knurled shaft with C-clip with proper gear would be great.
It is a design flaw IMO - there should have been a c-clip there when these
things were manufactured. Every one of these I've taken apart has failed
in basically the same manner. Curses and expletives to the OXY sensor
service warning mechanism too!
The 5000/200 gear is easy to fix, but a metal or stronger plastic gear would
help keep from failing again, at least in the same place. The gear teeth
seem to just get wiped clean off the gear.
Does give one a good excuse to replace all of the burnt out bulbs though.
