Got it running!  I put the old distr. cap back on, as I noticed part numbers 
were wrong, 
unplugged the fuel pump fuse, like Larry and Toby did, and it fired. Let it 
sit, put the fuse back in, and it started right up. Ran pretty rough, though. 
Now I'm going to fix the problem with the sensor plate stop. The clip was 
broken and caused the plate to rise way out of spec, causing the major 
flooding problem. I prolly woulda never thought to open that up to check.  
Well, more later. 
Oh yeah, I also got my new in injectors today
