Use steel wool and a good multipurpose cleaner like 'simple green' spray
your cleaner heavily onto the windshield (it cleans and acts as a lube so no
more scratches form)
scrub the windshield with the steel wool with medium to light pressure in 3
inch small circles
after doing whole windshield wipe down and grab your glass cleaner and clean
like normal
now grab a carnuba wax, I prefer maguires.
wax down your windshield just like your car, "wax on, wax off"
if that doesn't fix it try acetone instead of cleaner
