Driveshaft Q's

Check with Blaufergnugen (www.audiquattroparts.com) for the center support
bearing and CV's. I've yet to find a source for the u-joint. After
ruining the driveshaft on my 4000 in an attempt to upgrade the center
support and balance the assembly, I bought a used one in good condition for
$100. It's usually only the center support that needs replacing. If you
mark the orientation of the shafts before you split the u-joint and
reassemble the same way, you won't have a problem.
I don't think the 4k and 5k driveshafts are interchangeable.
