Possibly, but the FWD subframe has no mounting wings. The FWD cars have
the trans bolted to one side of the flooring, the quattro cars have the
trans bolted to the subframe on both sides. The FWD subframe has no trans
mount wings at all. Though one could take a subframe and weld the front
half of a 4000 4 cyl and the rear half of a urq one together, maybe... OR
if there was a 4 cylinder 4000 quattro in Europe that would have the right
subframe. I know there is a TYP89 80q 4 cylinder, that has the proper
mounting wings for the engine and transmission.
