Exhaust flange seals

I need advice on the best type of seal to use. My
brand new exhaust that I had put on the car has
already blown through a seal on the flange that was
put on the downpipe. After dropping the exhaust, I
had to clean all the Goo off the flange that was
previously sealing the inperfections. For the amount
of money I paid the Bozo's who did this, you think
they could weld a flange on strait. I did some
grinding, but it is still not perfect. Is there a
seal that will make up for a slightly warped flange?
I can bring it back to them, but I would like to just
get it done with and not have to drive 1.5 hrs each
way to have them do it. I put a crappy felt one in
there for the time being, but it is slightly leaking.
What about using two gaskets?
Thanks,
=====
