Obin,
What you have to do is trace the wire that gives the "on signal" to the
AC.............my suggestion will be to start at the AC control head. Check
and find out if the signal is not being turned off by the control head.
Since your AC is always on it might be a control head issue.
In my previous similar issues (on 5K) I always traced the problem to the
control head.

Hello all, it's been about 1 year since I was in here! I have a problem with
my audi 90 1988...just did an AC job got it running COLD and all but now
when I turn the car on the AC is on EVEN if the switch and switch light are
off...also the fan LOW speed is on and the engine fan is on all the
time..what is this?? I don't here ANY clicking sounds when I push the AC
switch in and out but the ac switch light DOES come on and off...HELP!! I
have the AUDI BIBLE book and I don't know what to do!
