Front sub frame removal

Thanks for that, Joe.
Following your message, I removed the drive shaft boot heat shield and took a 
closer look at the right side front diff mounting arrangement after reading 
your message. I see what you mean about the mounting arrangement but I still 
have a problem: it appears that both the 17mm bolt that attaches the diff 
bracket to the mount and the two 13mm bolts that attach the mount to the 
subframe screw into nuts that are inside the subframe. I'm able to get a ring 
spanner on the 17mm and front 13mm bolts from above and turn them but they 
both appear to screw into a nut that is completely inaccessible (inside the 
subframe?) and they wont unscrew without the nut being held still... Any 
advice gratefully received!
