Plan was to change out cam tonite. Turns out the current cam is larger than
the turbo cam I was going to install, hmmm??? Everything goes back together
fine, Timing marks appear to be correct from the inadequate haynes
description. Fuel pump is working but the car won't start. Pulled dist and
reset to 1 at TDC #1 I think, it appeared to be 180 degrees out. Checked all
vacuum lines and connections, appear to be correct, still not starting, I
am stumped and need my car to get to work in the morning. Car is an ' 83 5
cyl CGT CIS only injection. Coolant is a bit low because I had to adjust the
water pump, will this cause a no start condition on an ' 83????
PLEASE HELP
Matt Kramer
