87 5kCSTQ Mysterious Brake Light

The problem was actually a headset (between the ears), since it was due to a
burnt out filament in a dual filament bulb and my misunderstanding of just
which bulb was used for the brake light. But, thanx to your suggestion, I
found a repair done by a previous owner that needed rerepair, in that the
insulation was worn away on several wires at the trunk lid joint. I will use
liquid electrical tape to fix the insulation. Thanx, Paul
