C4 avavt V6 questions

I used to be the owner of a 1992 100 2.8q Avant. Black on Ecru, it was not
loaded with equipment, it even had a 5-speed manual tranny.

My 92 had this. The tailgate had been replaced on this car, probably because
of rear-ending. I wonder about the galvanization on this car, as it also had
rust near the handle for the gate. The handle was misaligned and rubbed on
paint or rather, rust.

Early V6s are known to use oil. Mine was close to a two-stroke engine, when
measured at oil consumption. Can you believe 2 liters per 1000 kms? Even
though it was a great car, I'm glad I sold it!
