Hydraulic Pressure Accumulator, aka the "Bomb",

I am not sure about autocheck system but brake red warning bulb
can be on due
to bad bomb or leaking servo unit.

Yes, it is either a bad "bomb" or leaking servo. But both seem to pass
their Bentley tests. I am trying to distinguish which is the likely
culprit.

I am wondering if this symptom - Autocheck warning soon after start up -
means anything "per se."

The shut-off-the-engine-pump-the-pedal "bomb" test was inconclusive. (Maybe
that's the answer.)
