Just an update on my painfully slow progress and some queries on suspension
upgrades and the like.  I started the project to install a 2.3l NG engine in
4000Quattro last year about this time.  My progress has been slow mostly
because I can only put about 8 hours a week into the project, and I have a
pitifully limited budget. 

Thus far I have a completely reworked head,  ported and polished, lapped
valves, autotech springs.  The head is torqued down, and I am ready to
instll the 272 cam  and new lifters and an adjustable cam sprocket, tb
,water pump, etc..putting it all back together.  

My progress may be interrupted again due to some upcoming  knee surgery, but
I begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Anyway,  I'm looking toward possibly upgrading the suspension, and a new
steering rack, since everything will be fairly accessible.  I found the
stock springs and Boge TG to work pretty good on the Silver 4kq, but may
want to go a little more agressive with the setup on the Blue Q.  I don't
want the car slammed to the ground or rock hard, as it will still be a daily
driver, but may occasionally see the track.  Budget is limited so that is a
factor too.

So, any recommendations?   Sources for not too much $$?
