4KQ Steering Rack R/R

What was the word on replacing or repairing the steering rack on a 4000
Quattro.  The rack on project GTQ has a slight leak, and I wouldn't take the
time to address it except I am doing the engine swap.

The very slow leak is coming from the hydraulic shaft seal under the
protective boot.  Can I just replace the seal and the boot, or should I get
a new or refubished rack?  Is there a rebuild kit?

Anyway, I'm just looking for the most time and $$saving options.
