200TQ fuel tank, possible leak

While in the process of re-doing the rear suspension, I smelled a fuel
smell under the car. I've felt this before at the rear of the car, and
upon closer inspection, I found some traces of fuel on the tank, left
side. It wasn't wet, but I saw that fuel had leaked out there. I only
feel the smell when having more than 1/2 tank. Is my tank leaking, or
can it just be a vent that doesn't work right? It looks like a real
PITA to remove the tank..
