Don't be too worried about it! For a short distance it should be OK.
Take care, and don't get in trouble! We might have to come and bail you out!

Subject: improper towing
hey all,
last week I had an unfortunate accident and was
arrested by Fort Worth prick department..
when I was being arrested I told the cop to make sure
they dolly the car b/c it is a quattro and not FWD.
Well just like the Aholes they are they did not tell
the wrecker service and the wrecker towed it as a FWD
car.. oh yeah, the wrekcer driver also listed the car
as a cadi and not an audi.. don't know how but they
did..
My question is has anyone ever had damage from
something like this.. I haven't tried to move the car
under it own power but I was curious what kind of
damage to look for.. if the tranny is broken from
this. is it not going to work at all or just make a
lot of noise.. WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR.. I want to
sue the Hell out of some one for this.. can I still
have a case even if they did not break the tranny..
for unnormal wear or something like that. or just for
being stupid..
Details::
the car(which is a 88 90 Quattro) was towed with front
end in the air and rear rolling.. down the freeway
for 10-15 miles if not further..(haven't clocked the
miles yet)
any suggestions will be appreciated,
T.G.O.,
Stephen Gutierrez
