It could be the upper tie rod end. If you can sneak some lube under the boot, the squeak goes away. (grease preferred. I've tried silicon (lasts about a day), WD-40 works but it disintegrates the boot, hence I am now replacing my tie rods at $120/ea). Let me know if grease works out, although with my replacements, I hope I wont have to look into this again for an exceedingly long time. BTW, I posted about this fairly recently.
