Hi all,
Another visit to the scale model swapmeet yesterday, lots of interesting
stuff. The (miniroute 43?) rally UrQ kits are out, I've seen two different
versions. They cost about $40 unbuilt and reqire lots of skill and patience
to build. From Provence Moulage (also 1:43 resin limited-edition kits) I
bought a 1989 Audi 90 'HB Acropolis rally', very detailed kit includig all
decals. They also had the Audi 200 rally cars in three different versions,
maybe I'll get one of those next time.
One final note- I couldn't resist a 1:10 r/c Audi R8c. Tried it out, it's
quick and it looks great. While I was lugging it around the swapmeet hall,
people kept stopping me to tell me it was great, where did I get it, how
much did it cost, did I want to sell it and did I know I got a bargain? :-)
Oh, also got another 1:87 rally UrQ (early livery) and a couple of Schabak
1:43s- CQ, 90q B2, 80 Polizei B3, 90q rally B3, CGT (Gama). All in their
original boxes and all in colours I didn't have yet. A great addition to my
collection!
