The kits commonly available for the watercooled VW models should fit
the 4000 just as well.  If you have the front-drive 4-cylinder car you
would need the 4-piece kit (one for each corner).  If you have a quattro
then you need the 6-piece kit (two pieces for each of the rear corners).
