the only difference between the "small" cars (type 85,89) and "large"
cars (type 44, etc) oil pans is a 'dent' in the side of the "small" cars
pan to accomodate the radiator.  The plastic oil deflector thing from
the big cars pan won't fit the little one without a little cutting.

The windage tray fits both pans.  New oil pans are readily available if
you want to start off rust-free.

I would imagine the big car pan has slightly more capacity, too, of
course.  But you don't want it rubbing against your radiator either,
so...
