A4 control Arms ....again!!!!!!

its not the bushings, its the ball joint side, they
are not greaseable, and the grease that is in there
gets hard and.......  if your mechanically inclined
and dont want to spend all that money you can remove
the arms ( very easy ) and carefully remove the boot
ring and grease them yourself, do not try the
hypedermic neadle, you'll ruin the boot for sure !!! i
have done this and it works. the bushings usually only
wear out if you pound your car ( like at the track ).
if you are a frequent customer at your dealer, they
will cut you a deal with the arm replacement, but
youll still have alot invested. if you have a favorite
independant, see if they will try the grease thing for
you. there are like around 6 versions of these arms
out there, audi keeps trying but just cant get it !!!!
