NAC -- Help for a friend with a BMW in New York State

Can anyone reccomend a BMW mechanic that is in a 35 mile radius of Croton
Falls/Exit 8 off of I-684? Someone other than a dealer (ie, BMW of
Ridgefield) who is giving her the runaround.

Please reply to me off list.

Symptoms/problems:
1996 BMW
318is

Ignition switch seems to be broken....car will not turn over via the key

Other things that I would like to have fixed:

1- heater stays on all the time....the blower will not shut off..there are
no levels of heat, either...it stays on high all the time.
2-airbag light stays on all the time
3-fog light is broken
4- gear shift cover is loose..needs to be glued or secured
