'85 4kq for sale

As my wife has been excessively down on my AUDI fanaticism, it may be time
to cease and desist for now.

I just acquired this Blue '85 4000 S Quattro.  It is not perfect, but far
from tired.  I am in the process of swapping the entire leather interior out
of An Alpine white'86 CS Quattro.  I will also be transplanting the trunk
from this car since it is perfect and there is a small dent in the blue one.

Engine runs tops and everything is completely stock with about 136000 on the
car which I believe is close to accurate as I know the recent history of the
car.  The handling is great in that it really needs nothing if you are happy
with stock handling.  The car has been mechanic owned and maintained, so
when I got the it, mechanicals were fine.

I brought the car to be the perfect platform for the project GTQ 2.3l engine
transplant, although a new motor this car does NOT need.

There are a few niggles that I am eliminating, so except that the paint is
not perfect with little road rash on the hood, and a white trunk, this car
is better than what you typically find.

I was going to replace my wifes silver '85 with this as it is in better
shape from the start, but she insists that her car is just fine and for me
to stop "fooling around".

I am asking $1500, which I know it is worth and is a loss to me - brand new
tires and all.

My wife would love for someone to come take all of this project stuff off my
hands, engines, parts car, etc., so package deals will be considered.
